A huge 'Thank You' to Susan (Cameron's Mum) for the talk and slideshow about bones, x-rays and skeletons this morning. We all loved hearing about what happens to bones when we break them and guessing which animal the skeleton belongs to.

A few reminders this week...
Hi everyone!
Don't forget that this week we are having our annual SCHOOL LEARNING CELEBRATION. This is a great chance to pop in and spend some time with your child/ren in their learning environment.
This is on THURSDAY between 2 and 4pm. We look forward to seeing you if you can make it.
There is also a mufti day on Friday to support KidsCan. There will be a gold coin donation (no specific theme).

Thank You Mrs Harrison
Last week we celebrated our Whakarongo School Support Staff and the fantastic work that they do.
Our Pod are lucky enough to have Mrs Harrison working with us and we each made her a flower with a special message.
They were threaded onto a necklace and she
wore it all day!
Cameron's Monster Story
Cameron made this fantastic poster and story at home about a book he read called "The Perfect Monster".
Today he shared it with the pod and now there are lots of Aroha Pod children who would like to read this book.

Dance 4 Asthma
A group of year 5-6 students have choreographed and performed a dance video to enter for the Dance 4 Asthma competition this year. They are going for people's choice award which is based on the most views on YouTube.
Here it is... the more you watch, the more views they get!
Aroha maths...
We had a fantastic maths session today - everyone was really focused and engaged. There was some great maths going on too!
